OUR MISSION
The Carter County Junior Livestock Show is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to provide youth in Carter County with an outlet to exhibit their livestock while promoting responsibility, development of life skills, and involvement in agriculture.
IMPORTANT NEWS
2023-2024 UPDATED RULES
-
A minimum of 10 animals will sale per event (Sheep, Doe Goats, Wether Goats, Gilts, Barrows, Heifers, Steers).

We have added a Cattle and Goat Fitting contest and will follow the OYE rules for these competitions.

The 4-H enrollment date for the 2024 show is January 14, 2024.

For 2025 and following, the 4-H enrollment deadline will be 7 days after the final species county validation date. ​
